How to Disable CRXDE and CRXDE Lite Support

To disable  CRXDE and CRXDE Lite, you need to disable the necessary bundles in  OSGI console

  2. Disabling CRXDE
    1. Login to the Touch UI on the AEM instance (author / publisher) you wish to enable CRXDE
    a. https:///libs/granite/core/content/login.html
    2. Browse to the OSGI Bundle Manager
    a. https:///system/console/bundles
    3. Click the "STOP" icon next to the following bundles one at a time:
    a. com.adobe.granite.crx-explorer
    b. com.adobe.granite.crxde-lite
    c. org.apache.sling.jcr.davex
    d. org.apache.sling.jcr.webdav
    4. Confirm that all 4 bundles are in "Resolved" status.

    Enabling CRXDE

    1. Login to the Touch UI on the AEM instance (author / publisher) you wish to enable CRXDE
    a. https:///libs/granite/core/content/login.html
    2. Browse to the OSGI Bundle Manager
    a. https:///system/console/bundles
    3. Click the "START" icon next to the following bundles one at a time:
    a. com.adobe.granite.crx-explorer
    b. com.adobe.granite.crxde-lite
    c. org.apache.sling.jcr.davex
    d. org.apache.sling.jcr.webdav
    4. Confirm that all 4 bundles are in "Active" status.
